PLM4U Solution PDM is a set of integrated applications created to improve and expand the capabilities of Windchill PDMLink, this is possible thanks to our knowledge of PTC's packages.

This application prints pdf files attached to WTPart in the Windchill environment.

The application allows you to create WTPart and BOM structures from CSV files.

PLM4U Solution PDM Print PDF

This application prints pdf files attached to WTPart in the Windchill environment.

To optimize users work it is possible to search and select more than one pdf at a time automatically verifying the presence of the physical files into the Vaults.

The main features of PDF Print are:
  • INTEGRATION
    Product is integrated in PDMLink 9.x and 10.x
  • EASY PRINT
    Print of PDF file attached at Windchill WTPart.
  • SEARCH
    Use the Search mechanism to compile the list of the object needed for print, or insert directly common names for objects.
  • VERSIONING
    You may find to print the latest version or a particular version from the history, or both.
  • CONTROL
    The application verify automatically the presence of the pdf attached before print procedure.
  • LOGGING
    A log file is created for the application.
  • NETWORK PRINTERS
    Possibility to define network printers from a company list; the print may be sent to printers located on different physical places linked to the PDMLink server.
  • WATERMARK
    In PDF creation it is also available a customizable Watermark print Watermark data may be processed from the related Windchill object (if connected), from Windchill user (if connected) or from external databases.


PLM4U Solution PDM Import WTPart

The application allows you to create WTPart and BOM structures from CSV files.

The application allow the optional creation of a new WTPart and the creation of its BOM structure form a CSV file.

The main features of Import WTPart are:
  • CREATION
    Creation of a new WTPart passing the necessary attributes.
  • CONNECTIONS
    Linking WTPart created with any existing CAD Documents (Rule of the same number).
  • STRUCTURE
    Creating a first level WTPart structure passed as elements, filling the binding attributes.
  • MODULAR
    Creation of a multi-section file to create a composite BOM, so the procedure can run multiple times automatically (multiple creation of WTPart and multilevel linking).
